Charlotte Football Club is committed to positively impacting our communities across the Carolinas through work that supports upward mobility, food insecurity and our military. These initiatives allow the club to offer access to free soccer & literacy programs; high-quality fields & mentorship opportunities; leadership training for high school students; as well as organize food distribution events and advocate for members of the military and their families.
In association with our community partners, Charlotte Football Club is providing free after school soccer and literacy programming for Title 1 elementary schools in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Each participating school will have its own coach/mentor.
Throughout the next several years, the club will install mini soccer pitches in at-risk communities across Charlotte and the Carolinas. Each pitch will be complemented with a character-based mentoring curriculum and soccer programming.
We are investing in and empowering, our local high school leaders. Boys and girls who are nominated to the Captains Academy will participate in monthly meetings to listen to and learn from leaders in our community.
Our Community Captains
Our exclusive network of leaders around the Carolinas are integral to helping the club connect at a grassroots level. Community Captains advocate for the growth of the club, and will facilitate a two-way flow of feedback and news between the club and its community.
