CLFC WILL FACE A MIXTURE OF COLLEGIATE AND PROFESSIONAL OPPONENTS AHEAD OF ITS INAUGURAL SEASON
Charlotte, NC (Friday, February 10, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC today announced the Club’s preseason schedule. CLFC will take on a collection of collegiate and professional opponents ahead of its first season in MLS NEXT Pro.
A majority of the preseason matches will be played behind closed doors as the times and dates are subject to change. Currently, the only friendly open to the public will be against the University of South Carolina on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. in Columbia, South Carolina. Admission for this match will be free.
Crown Legacy FC’s preseason schedule will feature matchups with fellow MLS NEXT Pro clubs New York City FC II and Atlanta United 2 as well as USL League One sides Charlotte Independence, Greenville Triumph and Richmond Kickers. CLFC will also face top collegiate teams including the University of South Carolina, Clemson University, University of North Carolina- Charlotte and University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
