Charlotte Football Club is committed to positively impacting our communities across the Carolinas through work that supports upward mobility, food security and our military. These initiatives allow the club to offer access to free soccer & literacy programs; high-quality fields & mentorship opportunities; leadership training for high school students; as well as organize food distribution events and advocate for members of the military and their families.

Charlotte FC Unified Team

As Charlotte FC enjoys its first year of MLS competition, the club is excited to announce the launch of its Unified Team to compete against other MLS clubs in 2023. MLS WORKS (Major League Soccer's Social Responsibility platform) ESPN and Special Olympics have teamed up to unite people with and without intellectual disabilities through the Unified Sports soccer exchange program. This program provides opportunities for Unified soccer teams to participate in a unique and exciting MLS inclusive experience.

Charlotte FC is proud to announce the Inaugural Carolina Soccer Honors launch, the premier event in the area looking to honor the best players, coaches, clubs, and schools in the region.

Greater Goals

In association with our community partners, Charlotte Football Club is providing free after school soccer and literacy programming for Title 1 elementary schools in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Each participating school will have its own coach/mentor.

Pitches for Progress

Pitches for Progress

Throughout the next several years, the club will install mini soccer pitches in at-risk communities across Charlotte and the Carolinas. Each pitch will be complemented with a character-based mentoring curriculum and soccer programming.

Captains Academy

We are investing in and empowering, our local high school leaders. Boys and girls who are nominated to the Captains Academy will participate in monthly meetings to listen to and learn from leaders in our community.

Now in its sixth year, Major League Soccer’s Kick Childhood Cancer campaign aims to find better cures for all types of childhood cancer, and now more than ever, provide support to one of the most vulnerable populations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every Save Makes A Difference

Every Save Makes A Difference

Since 2015, TUDN has partnered with MLS WORKS and Allstate to provide additional soccer opportunities for the Hispanic facing community in MLS markets. Every save made during a TUDN or Univision broadcast earns $500 for the MLS club as a part of the Every Save Makes a Difference program.
