Matthews, NC (Sunday, April 23, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC remain unbeaten to begin its inaugural campaign, defeating defending MLS NEXT Pro Champions Columbus Crew 2 1-0.
Forward Patrick Agyemang led the way, finding the back of the net after a long through ball by defender Hamady Diop. Goalkeeper Pablo Sisniega and forward Josue Rodrigues made their MLS NEXT Pro debuts while defender Joao Pedro broke into the starting XI for the first time this season.
Crown Legacy FC continue to sit atop of the Eastern Conference with 13 points.
