Columbus, OH (Sunday June 11, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC drops all three points for just the second time this season, falling 2-1 to defending champions Columbus Crew 2.
Forward Patrick Agyemang made history as the first player to score in an MLS and MLS NEXT Pro match in back-to-back days, opening the scoring in the 10th minute after netting a late equalizer in Charlotte FC's match yesterday. However, Crew 2 responded just six minutes later and took the lead coming out of the halftime break.
CLFC will look to get back on track as the Club travels to the Philadelphia to take on Union II on Wednesday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
