Matthews, NC (Sunday, August 9, 2023) - Crown Legacy FC clinches a spot in the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs in the Club's inaugural season with 1-0 win over Huntsville City FC.
CLFC earned MLS NEXT Pro's first playoff spot behind a stoppage-time goal by Iuri Tavares after a deadlock for nearly 91 minutes. Goalkeeper Isaac Walker picked up his fourth clean sheet as well to keep the Club's undefeated streak at home alive. Crown Legacy FC still has a firm hold of the top-seed in the Eastern Conference with 50 points.
