CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Saturday, April 19, 2025) - Crown Legacy FC fell 2-1 to independent side Chattanooga FC at Finley Stadium on Saturday night. Academy forward Magic Smalls scored his first professional goal while Academy forward Rocket Ritarita provided the assist.
CLFC broke through in the 21st minute thanks to Smalls netting his first professional goal. The play started with Emmanuel Uchegbu on the right flank picking out Ritarita, passing it through traffic to the top of the penalty area for Ritarita to tee up for Smalls. The Academy forward ripped a shot with his left foot that found its way to the top right corner of the net.
Chattanooga took the lead not long after the second half kicked off. The home side found an equalizer in the 51st minute, with Peter Plougmand breaking through while Jesus Ibarra put Chattanooga on top seven minutes later.
Crown Legacy FC (0-2-3, 4 points) rounds out its brief road trip next Saturday, April 26 at Carolina Core FC. Kickoff at Truist Point is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the match can be streamed on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
