Toronto, ON (Friday, June 30, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC comes from behind to defeat Toronto FC II 2-1 on the road.
After a scoreless first half, Toronto FC II came out firing, striking first in the 55th minute. CLFC found the equalizer just nine minutes later with defender Joao Pedro finding captain David Poreba over the top who was able to get a touch and put it in the back of the net. Pedro stepped up again and converted a penalty in stoppage time to bring all three points home.
