Matthews, NC (Wednesday May 24, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC come from behind to earn its first shootout victory of the season.
After trailing 2-0 heading into the halftime break, forwards Iuri Tavares and Vini Mello netted two goals to force the match to a shootout. Goalkeeper Isaac Walker made two saves in the shootout to secure the additional point. Additionally, Charlotte FC defender Guzman Corujo made his first competitive appearance since suffering a torn ACL in August last season.
