Matthews, NC (Sunday, July 9, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC defeats Southern rivals Atlanta United 2 3-1, stealing the top spot in MLS NEXT Pro's Supporters Shield standings.
Crown Legacy FC came out firing in the first half but were unable to find the net until forward Patrick Agyemang broke through in the 42nd minute and then again in the 44th minute, his second consecutive brace when playing with the Club. Defender Joao Guilherme secured the three points in the 84th with his first goal of the season.
