10-men CLFC fight back to earn two points on the road
HUNTSVILLE, AL (Saturday, April 13, 2024) - Crown Legacy FC comes from behind to earn two points on the road after playing the majority of the match with 10 men.
CLFC began the match on the front foot until the the 37th minute when midfielder Cameron Duke received his second yellow card of the match, leaving the Club with 10-men for the second consecutive match.
Despite eight saves from goalkeeper Chituru Odunze, Huntsville was able to break through in the second half. CLFC was able to equalize late in the match when defender Jahlane Forbes found the head of Charlotte FC Academy product Aron John to score his first professional goal and force a shootout.
Odunze’s save in the shootout was the difference, earning the additional point to finish out the roadtrip.
