Playoffs Header- Semifinals 

Crown Legacy FC has advanced to the semifinals in MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs! The Club will have to take the road less traveled to the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup, traveling for all playoff matches through the Eastern Conference Finals. After beating FC Cincinnati 2-1 in the quarterfinals, Crown Legacy FC will advance to the semifinals where they take on Philadelphia Union 2 on Sunday, October 26 at 5:00 p.m. at Subaru Park. If CLFC can bring home the trophy, it will be the first silverware in the Charlotte FC organization's young history! #BuildTheLegacy

Crown Legacy FC comes from behind to defeat top-seeded FC Cincinnati 2 and advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. CLFC put on a defensive show for much of the match with goalkeeper Chituru Odunze making multiple key saves to keep the match alive.

  • The MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs consist of 15 single-elimination matches, split between the Eastern and Western Conference until the MLS NEXT Pro Cup
  • The higher seeds in each round will host and choose their opponent for each round, and if a match is tied after 90 minutes, a 30-minute extra time period will be played and will move onto a penalty shootout if necessary to determine a winner
  • The highest overall seed in MLS NEXT Pro will host the Cup on October 22. Crown Legacy FC is the 13th overall seed in the league and the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

When is the first playoff match?

Crown Legacy will play FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday October 20 at 7 p.m. at Northern Kentucky University Soccer Stadium

How many teams make MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs?

Eight teams from each conference make playoffs with the highest seed choosing its opponent for each round

When is the MLS NEXT Pro Cup?
The MLS NEXT Pro Cup will be held the weekend of November 8th with the time and date TBA.
