Zoran Krneta was named General Manager of Charlotte Football Club in December 2019. He founded the global sports agency, Star Sports & Entertainment, in 2005 and has identified and brokered contracts for more than 150 soccer players across the globe. He is responsible for overseeing the entire Sporting Department.
Dean Smith has more than a decade of managerial experience in the English football league system. The West Midlands native led his boyhood club, Aston Villa, back to the Premier League in 2019 and established them as mainstays over the next two seasons. He has also been at the helm of Walsall, Brentford, Norwich City, and Leicester City over the course of his coaching career, and his playing career spanned 16 years with over 500 appearances in England.
Belair joined Charlotte FC in 2020 as the Director of Player Personnel where he oversaw the team’s salary budget for the inaugural roster build. He was subsequently promoted to Technical Director in 2022 before shifting to Assistant General Manager in 2024. The former Clemson University and Brown University player currently oversees player personnel, performance, and medical, as well as Crown Legacy FC roster construction.
Wilson joined Charlotte FC in 2024 after serving as the Philadelphia Union’s first academy director for over a decade. He has overseen the development of more than 30 players who went on to sign professional contracts including current U.S. Men’s National Team players Brenden Aaronson, Paxten Aaronson and Mark McKenzie. The Scotland native brings 30 years of coaching experience, including stops at the Scottish Football Association and Rangers FC.
Joseph joined Charlotte FC in 2024 after serving as an assistant coach at the Portland Timbers since 2018, including a stint as interim head coach at the end of the 2023 season. He has also coached at Orlando City SC, New York City FC, and Real Salt Lake. During his playing career, Joseph played at Clemson University before amassing 120 appearances in MLS and representing the U.S. at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Kah is an experienced former defender with four years of MLS experience after two seasons each at the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps. Kah served as Head Coach in 2022 for North Texas SC in MLS NEXT Pro, leading the team to the playoffs.
Fuchs had a decorated career spanning over 19 seasons and featuring seven professional teams across four different countries. Prior to serving as captain for Charlotte FC, he won the 2015/16 Premier League with Leicester City and captained Austria to UEFA Euro 2016.
Hyde served as the Goalkeeper Coach for the U.S. Men's National Team, where he helped lead them to trophies in the 2021 Concacaf Nations League and the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, before qualifying for and coaching in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Sachdev served as the Portland Timbers' Head of Analysis from 2020-2022. Prior, the Clemson University graduate spent two years as the video coach for LA Galaxy and one year as the video coach for the Houston Dynamo and RGV FC Toros.
