On March 4, 2022, ahead of the Club’s Inaugural Match, Charlotte FC opened its third mini pitch in its Pitches for Progress initiative at the Camino Health Center. This was the second mini pitch in the initiative sponsored by lead and founding partner Ally. 

Camino's mission is to help children grow into well-adjusted adults, regardless of their background, while promoting physical and mental fitness. This turf pitch plays a unique role in that, fostering unity and engagement in the community while supporting youth programs at Camino. 

The pitch unveiling hosted over 75 local kids, families, and supporters, with key representatives such as David Tepper, the owner of Tepper Sports and Entertainment, Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC, Rusty Price, the CEO of Camino, Don Garber, MLS Commissioner, and Andrea Brimmer, Ally Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer, also showing their support. 

The kids received shirts and jerseys before christening the pitch with the first of many soccer games that will be played. Also featured in the space is a striking soccer-themed mural overlooking the pitch, symbolizing unity through soccer and exercise.
