On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Charlotte FC and Ally came together at a familiar place, Creative Player Foundation (CPF) to unveil their fifth mini pitch as partners in the Pitches for Progress initiative. This mini pitch is the first indoor facility in the initiative’s history.
Creative Player Foundation is one of the Club’s earliest community partners, providing a safe space for education and soccer for children in need. In addition to the indoor pitch, CPF also received a brand-new outdoor pitch.
Prior to the ceremonial first kick, Natalie Brown, Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship at Ally; Joe LaBue, President of Charlotte FC; and Daniel Arujo, CPF Founder, highlighted the importance of the new pitch for the community and foundation it will serve.
Fifty children from Creative Player Foundation joined to officially welcome the mini pitch into the community by playing friendly matches alongside Sir Minty. Every kid in attendance also received a gift, courtesy of Ally, which included an Ally t-shirt, a financial literacy book, and a Crown Jewel jersey drawstring bag.
