Through the David and Nicole Tepper Foundation, Charlotte FC installed its seventh mini pitch in its Pitches for Progress initiative at Nations Ford Elementary school on November 1, 2022. 

Nations Ford Elementary has one of the most diverse student populations in the community. Providing a space for kids of all ages and backgrounds to come together and connect through soccer was important as the Foundation and the Club welcomed 150 students in attendance

David and Nicole Tepper were both present to celebrate this memorable moment, and addressed the students at the school ahead of them taking charge of soccer matches on the turf pitch. Kids also heard from Dustin Swinehart, Director of Community Engagement at CLTFC and Nicholas Paquette, Principal at Nations Ford Elementary School.
