BEHIND THE DESIGN
Combining her realism style of art with the Black Excellence inspiration, Kalin Devone set out to encompass as many people and feelings as she could to create a piece that is open and welcoming to everyone for the celebration of Juneteenth. Her inspiration to create comes from her friends and family combined with the pride and joy that surrounds Juneteenth.
MEET KALIN DEVONE
Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, Kalin Devone is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on the ideas of societal influence and social culture. She is known for her use of realism to reflect popular themes from her culture and childhood in the 90’s and early 2000’s. . This Kalin’s work mainly focuses on portraiture, she also creates abstract pieces that combine the themes of fluidity and flux of space.

- Check-In: See CLTFC associate upon check in - Located at the North gate of Bank of America Stadium on S Graham Street
- Run Route: A two-mile route within Bank of America Stadium
- Post-Run Celebration: Fun Run will end on the field with a cool down led by Mad Miles Run Club.
- Food & Beverages: Water will be provided along the route, but we encourage bringing a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. No alternative beverages & food will be available for purchase.
