Charlotte FC are heading to the nation's capital to start their long-awaited inaugural season against of the original MLS clubs. D.C. United were one of the most improved teams in 2021 in large part due to the hiring of head coach, Hernán Losada.
Despite D.C.'s revitalization last season, they just missed out on a playoff spot and will be striving to make that right this season. For CLTFC, this will be an opportunity to start their first-ever season in good fashion in a match that will prove to be a physical and tactical battle.
