Charlotte is set to kick off their second Leagues Cup campaign by facing a familiar Eastern Conference foe, the Philadelphia Union. The Union, who have had an uncharacteristically disappointing season, appear to be finding their stride with two consecutive victories. Meanwhile, Charlotte is also riding high on confidence, having just completed an unbeaten week with three consecutive away matches. Both teams are entering Leagues Cup in good form, however, there can only be one winner.
