Charlotte FC midfielder Chris Hegardt underwent a successful meniscectomy surgery earlier this week. He is expected to make a full recovery and be sidelined for approximately 8 weeks.
Dr. Jonathan Riboh, our lead orthopedic surgeon, of Ortho Carolina performed the surgery at Atrium Mercy Hospital.
Hegardt, a rookie out of Georgetown University, played in the Club’s first two matches before suffering the injury in training.
