Charlotte, NC (Monday, June 26, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC Goalkeeper Isaac Walker has been selected to participate in Goalie Wars during the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge on Tuesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass.
Walker, 22, will face off against three other MLS NEXT Pro goalkeepers one-on-one in a single-elimination competition. During three 90 second rounds, each goalkeeper will defend his own net while trying to score on his opponent by throwing, kicking or drop-kicking the ball.
The other three goalkeepers competing are Damian Las (Austin FC II), Ben Martino (Huntsville City FC) and Xavier Valdez (Houston Dynamo 2).

Walker has been a key contributor to Crown Legacy FC’s success in the first half of its inaugural season. Starting in eight matches, the Orlando native has recorded two clean sheets, 28 saves and won one shootout. CLFC also has the highest goal differential and lowest goals against in the Eastern Conference, making it one of the most stout defenses in MLS NEXT Pro.
Crown Legacy FC currently sits atop the Eastern Conference with 35 points and even on points with Colorado Rapids 2 for the overall league lead.
