HIGH POINT, N.C. (Saturday, April 26, 2025) - Crown Legacy FC earned its first win of the season in a 2-1 victory over in-state rivals Carolina Core FC at Truist Point. Jack Sarkos and Andrej Subotić each scored and assisted fell 2-1 to independent side Chattanooga FC at Finley Stadium on Saturday night.
Sarkos broke the stalemate in the 75th minute to claim the first professional goal of his career. Subotić floated in the ball from a free kick, teeing up Sarkos right in front of goal who sent home a header with pinpoint accuracy.
The Foxes equalized in the 83rd minute after Jathan Juarez carried the ball across the end line, centering it for Facundo Canete at the top of the penalty area for a one-time finish up the middle of the goal.
Subotić sealed the victory for CLFC four minutes into stoppage time. Sarkos began the play holding up his defender in the six-yard box before turning to make space for a cross that Subotić headed over the goal line, claiming all three points for CLFC.
Crown Legacy FC (1-2-3, 7 points) returns home to take on Inter Miami CF II at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex on May 9. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the match can be streamed on MLSNEXTPro.com.
