  • Both season and single-match credentialed media will receive a media logistics email 24 hours prior to matchday containing a parking request form.
  • Please do not email Charlotte FC communications staff members to request a parking pass. A member of the Charlotte FC communications staff will provide a parking pass as quickly as possible; however, it is a manual process to send each one. With that in mind, please wait until 1 p.m. on matchday to reach out if you have not received one. Please reach out to Hannah Tracy for any parking pass related questions or requests.

  • Media members will be required to pick up credentials at Bank of America Media Will Call, which is located at the South Gate. Media Will Call will open three hours ahead of scheduled kickoff.
  • To reach Media Will Call and the media entrance, you will be required to clear a security checkpoint on Mint St.
Press Box

  • Wifi/Network: Media can connect to the wireless internet at Bank of America Stadium using “Stadium Guest”
  • Cheering and loud noises are not permitted in the Press Box.
  • A meal is provided before each match to all accredited media in the press box and will close at kickoff.
Photo Work Room

  • Charlotte FC’s designated photo work room can be located just inside the North Tunnel, on the 000 level of the concourse.
  • Each accredited photographer will be issued a photo bib/vest provided by Charlotte FC staff. Bibs must be worn at all times while at any photo position and returned to the photo work room following the conclusion of the match.

  • Player availability is designed to be match-specific and done in scrum formats located outside of the Charlotte FC home locker room.
  • Post-match access to the field is strictly off limits, with the exception of TV live shots or video reports.
  • If you are requesting access to the opposing team, please locate a member of their communications staff in the press box. You can also pass along your request to a member of the CLTFC communications staff who will get you in touch with them.

Credentialed Media Rules & Regulations
  • No persons under the age of 18 are permitted in media areas without prior approval from the Charlotte FC communications team.
  • Any type of club/team jersey, no matter the organization, is not appropriate attire for credentialed media in press areas (press box, photo work room, designated photographer positions, pitch)
  • On-field interviews are strictly prohibited, unless granted written permission by the Club’s communication staff.
  • Media must use designated media access points at the stadium; credentials are not a license to roam the stadium or gain higher tiers of access.
  • Media members cannot use credentials to gain preferential access, including but not limited to, autographs, photographs, clothing items or personal business requests.
  • Media credentials do not give access to the field of play, indoor Vault area or team/bench sideline at any time.
  • Media cannot congregate or roam anywhere in the 000 level of the stadium. Media must be in designated press areas or actively moving between them.
  • Media members must have a working function and be actively capturing content while on the pitch, it is not a designated viewing area. Media members that are seen sitting and not actively capturing content will be asked to leave the pitch.
  • Media should not engage with players at any point during warm-up periods or matches. This includes when players are entering or exiting the field to or from their respective locker rooms.
  • Non-rights holders may only videotape the first 15 minutes of each half during all matches. Following the 15-minute period, all cameras must be off.
  • 72-hour embargo for portfolio use of photos/videos shot at Charlotte FC matches. Only the outlet you are credentialed for can post photos/videos prior to the 72-hour mark.
  • Media credentials are not intended to amplify personal online social media presence.

Pursuant the MLS Media Access Policy, media members guilty of the following actions may result in seizure of credential and/or ejection of its wearer from the stadium or training facility:

  • Requesting autographs at any time.
  • Taking photographs with players/coaches.
  • Using credentials for family or friends of working media members.
  • Conducting unauthorized interviews.
  • Unprofessional behavior (Cheering in the press box, consumption of alcoholic beverages, failure to abide by posted rules, etc.).

A violation of any of these outlined policies will result in the review and possible revocation of credentials.
